I purchased two of these for a short film and was pleasantly surprised by how effective they worked. I mounted two FX30s for an interior car shot and everything went as planned

Picked up this K&F suction cup camera mount for use on my car, and I’m impressed. The suction held strong the entire track day without any issues, even at high speeds and under heavy vibration. I did add a custom braided safety cable just for peace of mind, but honestly, the mount never budged.The design is sturdy, the adjustments are easy to lock in place, and it gives you a lot of flexibility for camera angles. The suction cup has a strong, secure grip as long as you’re mounting on a clean, flat surface.If you’re looking for an affordable, reliable suction cup mount for automotive or action filming, this is a great choice. With a simple backup cable, you’ll have full confidence running it even in demanding situations.

I have a YouTube channel and got this mount to get some creative shots with my mirrorless and action cameras. I really like K&F Concept, they make really good quality items at great prices and this one is no different. This is very well made and comes with a magic arm that has “bouncy” locating pins, which just means they push in and you can use them even if your equipment doesn’t have a place for mounting pins. It also comes with an adapter for most action cameras and a phone mount. The phone mount is actually pretty nice, it is just an expandable clamp style, but it has a ¼” on the bottom and on the back. It also has a cold shoe mount on the top for accessories. This also has a plethora of mounting spots on the top and sides as well. To use, you place this against a flat(ish) surface and push the “suction valve” until the white line disappears. Once that white line disappears this thing holds like a beast! You can use this on most types of smooth surfaces, glass, walls, doors, etc… This holds my Lumix S5iix with no issues at all. The only real negative for me, and this just proves how well this mount holds, is that I find it can be difficult to remove. There are two rubber nubs that say “open” that you are supposed to press inward to release it, but I really struggle with this method. Now, it might just be user error, but I find that I have to push those nubs with one hand and start to pull up on the edge with the other. Obviously you’ll want to remove your equipment before trying to remove the mount. Overall, I am very happy with this suction cup mount and look forward to all the creative shots it will allow me to get.

This thing is a tank! Heavy, with almost all parts made of tough steel, and featuring multiple mount options including Arri style mounting holes for avoiding unwanted pans and shifts.The cup itself is very large, lots of surface area to hold on to your clean, flat surfaces. It features a magic arm with said Arri mounting sockets.The includes action-cam and smartphone adapters are the only plasticky parts in the box, the rest is rugged and could, I think (don't take my word for it) securely hold something heavier than a tiny action camera.My only beef, and I was hesitant to take off a star for this or not is the actual suction mechanism which Is a button on the side you must pump a number of times before it grips the surface. I have encountered this type of mechanism before with disastrous results - the button would slide in and out with no effect - and I had to discard an entire cup from another brand.Mind you - THIS ONE WORKED and the suction on my mirrored closet doors was SO STRONG it took me some effort to dislodge it! That's good news for your gear. Whether the pump will last and resist I can only guess - time will tell.In the meantime, this product is way above any of the generic suction cup mounts I have seen before!

I've tried two other suction cup mounts, this one is the definite winner. The major parts are almost all made from aluminum. The base for the large 4.5 inch suction cup has a myriad of 1/4 and 3/8 inch screw and locating holes. The magic arm is also aluminum with 1/4 screw threads on each end.The suction cup and base uses a pump system which actually removes air from inside the suction cup. The more common suction cup system uses a lever or similar design to increase the volume of the suction cup creating the difference of air pressure between the inside and outside. The advantage of the pump system is the plunger also serves as a pressure gauge and can warn you when the pressure reaches unsafe levels. The instructions advise to check the mounting every 2 to 4 hours depending on usage.The K&F Concept mount is the most firmly attaching of the mounts I've tested. One is useless and is destined for the rubbish bin or as a desktop (non-suction) mount.

Well done K&F! This is a single suction cup car mount that really holds tightly.In the kit you get the suction cup, the ball joint arm, an action camera mount, a phone mount, a couple replacement rubber o-rings and a tools to tighten everything down. Usage is pretty simple, as you might expect. Mount the ball joint arm onto the top then pick your mount from either the action camera or the phone holder, and attach that to the other end of the ball joint. Clean the surface prior to attachment and then press the suction cup onto the surface. On the side of the cup is a pump. Just press that until you see it won't suck anymore and you're ready to go! If you ever see the white line on the pump, you're not well attached and you should give it another go with mounting.You can also attach more kit at more positions as there are a number of threaded connector holes which will produce a soft whistle at higher speed due to air flow through the device. Yes, it can be heard on your audio but honestly, stop listening to your audio at speed, there's nothing usable there.I tested this out with a 360 camera using the action camera mount and had flawless results with speed up to about 60 mph. Yes it works for an action camera and a 360 camera. Next is to mount a full frame camera with a cage to it and see how it fares. Completely endorse this for action cameras and 360 cameras, full frame testing coming soon!Overall, great quality from K&F Concept as usual. No reservations here. Great product.

This camera mount is exceptionally made, and is very versatile in how it can be used. The construction quality is at a very high standard, and they have put a lot of consideration in to making it highly flexible.This mounting bracket has three mounting surfaces, the top, and then on either side at 45 degree angled. The two sides have two sized screw supports: 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch. All of those holes have stabilizing pin holes at 0, 90, 180, and 270 degrees, which accepts floating pins to prevent the mount from rotating. On the top, there is the center 1/4 hole, with six other 1/4 holes around it, with all sharing common pin holes. The center most 1/4 inch hole has a removable insert to allow it to accept a full-sized 3/8 inch threaded connector. The attention to various combinations of attachment points will help ensure you can set this up anyway you need it.The vacuum pump is brilliant; I've never seen anything like this before. When attaching the suction cup, the vacuum is achieved by pumping the plunger. The greater the vacuum, then the less the plunger will pop-out. On the plunger is a white ring, which indicates the degree of vacuum; you keep pumping until you don't see the line anymore since it will retract in to the housing. This indicator line is also use to keep track of how good of a vacuum it is maintaining. If the line become visible, it means that it's losing suction, so all you need to do is to pump it a few more times. So what makes this so awesome is that you can visually see if the vacuum is starting to fail, so you can fix it before the suction cup fails. This is critical, since failure of the suction could be detrimental to your camera and components. For extra safety, the aluminum body has a safety loop for attaching a cord to provide a fail safe tether.This camera mount includes a cellphone holder, and a highly flexible "magic arm" that can be positioned in almost any angle. It's ingenious that they are using O-rings on a ball joint to help lock in the angle that you need, which prevents it from slipping.One thing I also found, is that the size of this suction cup camera holder is large enough, and sturdy enough, that it makes are an excellent free standing base without using the suction cup. Obviously it's less stable by far, but if you have a flat solid surface, then it can hold your camera, or phone, in the best angle so you can get your shots.I cannot begin to express how happy I am with this camera mount. It's truly exceeded my expectation, and it's been a pleasant discovery with how versatile it actually is. It's an amazing value, and it really is well designed, and the quality of the materials are the best.

The 4.5-inch suction cup mount from K&F Concept is a real highlight for anyone who regularly films in the car with a camera or action cam. The workmanship is impeccable, the suction cup sticks so firmly to smooth surfaces (e.g. glass, bonnet, side windows) that you almost have trouble removing it again — which is of course ideal for safety. Particularly noteworthy is the combination of a strong vacuum foot (up to 60 kg horizontally) and the flexibly adjustable Magic Arm with ball head. The adjustment is quick thanks to a single wing screw, but is then bomb-tight. I've tested the setup with my Sony RX100 VII so far and plan to use it with the Alpha 7 IV - no problem for this mount. It brings a real professional feeling to the rig. The included adapters for action cams and smartphones make the mount universally usable, e.g. for Insta360, DJI Action or GoPro. The 1/4” and 3/8” connections, including ARRI positioning holes, allow additional accessories to be securely mounted without anything twisting. The only minor criticism: It takes quite effort to release the suction cup, as the quick release is a bit fiddly. But there is a safety indicator (“warning line”) on the pump, a useful detail. My personal conclusion as a freelance videographer/photographer:
For anyone looking for a stable, low-vibration solution for shooting from the car, this mount is a real asset. Robust technology, clever design with truly versatile uses! And from now on, it's an integral part of my camera setup.

I'm really excited about this mount and it's definitely one of the best I've used so far. Grip & safety: The suction cup mount is incredibly strong. It easily holds my Sony A7IV in the rig against the car window or on smooth surfaces without even a hint of uncertainty. The mechanism with the pump works intuitively and safely. I find the visual warning line on the pump particularly helpful, with which you can check the hold at any time. Workmanship & quality: As always with K&F Concept: The quality is top. The material looks very high-quality and robust. Everything meshes neatly together, nothing wobbles or looks cheap. Functionality: The ball head can be flexibly adjusted and stably holds the desired position. The included adapters for action cams and smartphones are handy, and the ARRI threads provide additional mounting options for accessories. Conclusion: An absolutely recommended tool for anyone who wants to film with a camera, GoPro or smartphone in the car or on smooth surfaces. 5 out of 5 stars and therefore full recommendation!

Today I would like to write my personal opinion about the K and F Concept suction cup mount, which I was able to test as part of the Vine program. This doesn't affect my review in any way. I hope I can help you decide for or against the product. Since cameras sometimes cost a small fortune, I am always careful when I attach them somewhere with the help of accessories. Especially the attachment with a suction cup was never familiar to me here. I have to admit that the suction cup of K and F proved me wrong here. It is very easy to use. 1. Clean the surface on which the suction cup should be attached 2. Place the suction cup and pump with the pump until the white stripe in the suction cup disappears. 3. Install accessories and have fun The two rubber quick-release handles make it easier to remove the suction cup. If you squeeze it together, the suction cup comes off and you can remove it. When attaching and releasing, the accessories should not yet be attached to avoid accidental damage. Thanks to the white safety line on the pump, you can also see from afar whether the pump is starting to come loose. I've tested the mount on various surfaces. These included window panes, cars and even on a normal wooden door. Even the door had adhesive force (here, of course, make sure that the door is smooth and that no air can get under the suction cup. There are many ways to attach accessories on the top and sides of the suction cup itself. The suction cup also includes a small Magic Arm, a mobile phone holder, an ActionCam holder, as well as two rubber sealing rings, a plastic cover for the suction cup and two hexagonal keys.
